The coastal town of Diani lies 30km south of Mombasa, close to the border with Tanzania. Nearby is one of Kenya’s most popular beach destinations, Diani Beach, best known for its beautiful white sand stretching for miles, sophisticated restaurants and elegant 5* hotels. Watersports, including water-skiing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, are extremely popular, with many international competitions held throughout the year.

During the day, frangipani, jasmine and coconut fill the air with delicate, exotic fragrance while at night luminous fireflies perform their incandescent dance.

In the nearby coastal rainforest reserve of Shimba Hills, black-and-white colobus monkeys and an impressive population of elephants reside. Also found here is Kenya’s only population of Sable Antelope.
