Amongst Kenya’s game reserves, the Maasai Mara National Reserve stands alone in the far south west of the country, removed from other game destinations. This Garden of Eden offers the richest diversity of wildlife in the country, including elephants, leopards, rhinos and buffalo, and has the largest concentration of African lions, including the black-maned lion.

From August, the Maasai Mara provides one of nature’s greatest, longest running, annual migrations when millions of wildebeest, accompanied by their predators, make the pilgrimage from Tanzania’s Serengeti Plains to the grasslands of the Mara, following the rains in search of greener pastures.
